Hepatica nobilis (triloba) - Home-grown liverwort

Liverworts are lovely spring flowers with bright blue star-shaped flowers of mature forest humus soil - before and between deciduous trees in semi-shaded position spring sheller. In congenial places they reproduce by self-seeding, so that over time larger colonies arise. Liverwort takes time to develop. Local wild perennial is one of the earliest flowering plants of the native flora.
